Matt Kumin is a former solo practitioner (13 years) and currently, a partner in Kumin Sommers LLP, a law partnership focusing on civil rights and employment litigation.

Matt also counsels small business on a wide range of issues ranging from equity arrangements to employment issues.

He has lectured nationally on civil rights related topics as well as starting up law practices and mentors and trains attorneys starting up their own law practices.


Valeria Kumin a results coach and trainer with 20 years of experience in business consulting.


Valeria has worked with businesses nationally, helping to optimize their performance and success. She has also worked locally as a litigation consultant, providing assistance with jury selection, preparing clients for mediation and testimony and advising on settlement strategies.

Mrs. Kumin has an insiders perspective as well, having been married to an attorney for 15 years.
